Meet our Staff

Without the commitment to excellence and compassion exhibited by the All About Animals Rescue Staff and Volunteers, countless animals would never receive help at all.

This page is dedicated to you!

Director Smoosh

As the resident clinic director, I enjoy overseeing the intake and discharge of our spay/neuter guests. All About Animals Rescue isn’t just a job to me; it’s my home.

At All About Animals I am the transport coordinator. I have a tremendous love for animals and every day I spend here that love grows. I enjoy knowing that I am helping not only the animals, but their owners as well. I have been a devoted pet owner for years. I currently own an 18 year old terrier/poodle mix, named Murphee. He is my loyal toothless wonder.

Having been adopted twice myself, I’ve always related to the plight of shelter animals. It’s very personal to me when I see the faces looking back at me from inside the cages. I have spent most of the last 25 years working in the transportation industry, most of that as a driver. In the ten years prior to coming to All About Animals, my dogs and I logged nearly a million miles and traveled through every one of the 48 contiguous United States. My wife and I have been foster parents to about 60 dogs over the years. We also fostered a cat who we ended up adopting.

There isn’t much I’d rather be doing than cruising up and down the road with a bunch of dogs and cats.

I’ve been working with All About Animals since January 2009.  Prior to working here, I volunteered my time helping animal rescues in the area.  Even as a child I would bring home stray animals to foster and adopt to a loving home. My work at All About Animals allows me the opportunity to help pet owners in need, and educate the general public on the importance of spay and neutering.   I’m very passionate about helping homeless animals!   It’s an amazing feeling when you know that you have saved an animal’s life and placed them into a loving, forever home.

I have been with All About Animals Rescue for over a year now.  I am a mom and stepmom to 5 great kids and a step-grandma to a beautiful girl.   Since starting with AAAR, I have enjoyed helping to keep all of the cats and dogs healthy and happy.  It is very rewarding to see owners doing all they can to make sure there “kids” will be there for a long time with yearly vaccines and Spay and Neutering.

Her dedication and love for anesthesia, surgery, dentistry and continuing education makes her a perfect fit for this organization. She also has extensive husbandry experience caring for horses, chickens and a variety of waterfowl and wildlife. Since arriving at AAAR she’s become a dedicated advocate of the community cat movement. She enjoys camping and exploring the world traveling with her 2 teenage sons.

I have been a veterinary technician for 2 years. Before that I was a Marine mammal trainer. I just moved back from St. Thomas Virgin Islands where I was the head technician at the Humane Society of St. Thomas. My girlfriend and I have two beautiful girls that are 11 and 15. We also have 2 Pit Bull mixes and 4 cats, all of which are rescues. I love working for All About Animals because they do so much for people who may not always have the means to get their animals what they need. They put the animals first and try to help everyone they can. I am very proud of the work we do and I truly love my job.

I started with All About Animals in the summer of 2013. I’ve been bringing my own pets and rescue dogs here for many years. My love for animals, especially dogs, has been with me my whole life. I’m a proud dog mom to 3 pups of my own, Boston Terriers; Pandie and Chopper and Pit Bull Dexter. Educating the public about the importance of spay and neuter, and how to properly care for their pets is very important to me. I’m glad to work in an environment with others that feel the same.

Even though he’s a typical lab, he brings me joy every day. Since I’ve been in the veterinary field, I’ve always had a love for rescue and educating the public on the importance of spay and neuter. My history with All About Animals Rescue started a year ago when I was volunteering here. I truly enjoyed my time and when I was asked if I would like to work answering phones I was thrilled to say yes. I love seeing all the happy animals coming in and also sad, like everyone else, to see the abused ones. We all work hard in our individual ways to make life better for them as well as the healthy ones. Everyone here is so dedicated and the love they have for these animals shines through in the way they care for them! I am truly grateful to be a part of this organization.
