Adopt from the shelter Spread the word about adoption! Encourage your friends and family to save a pet from the shelter instead of purchasing a pet from the pet store! The general public should visit the shelter during their open hours Commissioner Meetings Its important the Commissioner's hear your thoughts and they see that people care about their pets. Full Commissioner meetings are held once a month on Thursday at 7 p.m., the next meeting is April 17th. The Health Committee oversees the shelter and their meetings are held once a month at 9 a.m., the next meeting is May 8th. Please call 586-469-5125 for more information and directions.
