AAAR has opened the first full time spay/neuter clinic in Southeast Michigan. This is a unique concept for our area and we are excited to be the first! We offer high quality, high volume, low cost spay/neuter to the general public. We are proud to announce that we now open 5 days a week for spay/neuter! As well as some weekends - call today for our schedule! How do I sign up? Call 586-435-6930 - call today! What services are provided? Spay/neuter, nail trim and pain medication are included in the surgery fee. Flea preventative, de-wormer, heartworm, FeLV/FIV testing and vaccines are available at an additional cost. Yes - we do feral cats and ear tipping! Just please let registration know that you have feral cats when calling in. How much is it? Cat spay/neuter is $40. Rabies and distemper vaccines are available. Dog spay/neuter is $80. Rabies and distemper vaccines are available. We do have subsidy programs available for low income owners from all areas, please call for more information if you cannot afford the surgery fees. Cash or credit card only - checks are NOT accepted - no exceptions. Licensed Veterinarian's perform the surgeries and over see all aspects of the clinic to ensure the pets are well cared for. We follow "The Association of Shelter Veterinarians veterinary medical care guidelines for spay-neuter programs" which is nationally recognized and endorsed by the ASPCA. Equipment All clinic equipment has been reviewed by Licensed Veterinarians to ensure that it meets their high standards. See more pictures of our clinic!
