Chrysler Does the Right thing - Best Friends

Feral cats need help! - see us in the Detroit Free Press

What are feral cats and TNR?

September 8- Chrsler has agreed to do the right thing and let us TNR the kitties on the property! We are very thankful and hope to begin work soon. Of course, this is an expensive endeavor and donations are appreciated!

July 28th - We have been able to adopt out a few of the kittens that we rescued. We would still like to help the adult cats that are left there, but the plant just wants them "gone". Since there is no place for them to go, we are unclear what that means. We are willing to trap neuter and release them back there, but so far they have been unwilling to even consider it.

June 18th, Thursday,- 1 p.m. - they've begun tearing out the bushes and several "nests" of kittens are at risk! We are working hard to trap them, we have 9 kittens so far and have called for more traps! We need fosters for them - please email us if you interested in helping

June 16th, Tuesday,- 10 p.m. - we've been able to trap 10 cats at the Sterling Heights plant. This is a fantastic number to have caught in such a short time! The kitties will be monitored and cared for. We'll be spaying/neutering them asap.

June 12th - We've begun working with Officials at the Sterling Heights plant to save the lives of the feral cats there. We plan on beginning trapping on Tuesday.

How to help:

We need help with further trapping efforts to catch new cats that have been left behind. Please let us know if you can be of assistance!

.

We also need bath size towels, Fancy Feast Flaked Tuna (to induce them into the traps) and small paper plates.
